Douglas Schoenberg

You probably think CEO stands for Chief Executive Officer, but my job is really to be (C)oach, (E)xperience Sharer & (O)rganizer. I spend most of my time using my 30+ years of experience to encourage and support SofterWarians (thankfully not a term we actually use) to create great products and provide great service. Mostly it is an easy job, because the people who work here really care about our clients and each other. I love travel, food, and of course, my family. I also love to laugh and be happy. Luckily, I enjoy the work we do and also appreciate my own sense of humor, so I get to smile a lot!

Lauren Sheehan
Director of Customer Care

Lauren Sheehan

My team and I are dedicated to helping customers become and stay successful with our software, which makes their jobs easier and their goals possible. When I’m not at work, I’m probably working on my farm or fishing. I’m a beekeeping, wine-and-bread-making, veggie-growing chicken momma. I enjoy learning about living sustainably and independently through ‘doing.’

Nathan Relles

100 words or less? Seriously? I’m an Italian-born immigrant fortunate to be a U.S. citizen. I love running, electrical power, and above all my family. I like a good anecdote, especially if it has a moral. Card tricks too. I’m grateful for the exceptional people around me who relentlessly pursue SofterWare’s mission to make easier software so our clients can achieve success easily. Really. I try to indicate precisely what I mean to say, and help others do the same. I’m usually much more verbose, so I think I did well here.

Paul Rowe

Paul Rowe

With years of experience in sales management at software companies, I spend my days focusing on the strategic direction of sales initiatives and watching my lively, yet loveable Sales Team succeed. I sing and play guitar and courageously display my love for NY sports teams in our Philadelphia area office. I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, and I’m a passionate supporter of the National MS Society.

Eleanor Stasio

I lead a team that offers top-notch system setup and training so our clients are positioned to be successful and meet their mission on a daily basis. I love spending time with my family and friends on Long Beach Island and traveling to warm areas. My passion for exercise leads me to our local YMCA where I teach spin and fitness classes.

Inspired by our clients’ work, successes, and challenges, I seek out innovative products and services that together with DonorPerfect create solutions for our nonprofit organizations. When I’m not exploring new software, I can be found spending time with my wife and kids and pedaling my bike for fitness and adventure.

I manage a team of numbers-savvy people who ensure everyone gets paid, along with spreadsheet gurus who translate data into actionable to-dos that continuously evolve our products and customer experience for the better. When I’m not crunching numbers, I enjoy adventures in the great outdoors with my wife and two hyperactive dogs.

Mike Scott

As financial and operations officer, I thrive on helping people achieve more by focusing on the most impactful elements of their job and then measuring results, celebrating successes, and learning from occasional failures. “Better to have tried and failed, than not to have tried,” I often say. In the 80’s, Paul Young sang, “Wherever I leave my hat, that’s my home,” so I tend to leave my silly hat at the beach – on summer Mondays of course!

My Client Relations Team and I reach out and touch customers to make this world a better place. A few of my favorite things for this year – Flamenco cante, traveling to Iceland, Scandinavia, Crete, and Belize, eliminating racism in my community, empowering girls everywhere, Philly Opera, and ART, ART, ART.

I have had the privilege of learning and growing at SofterWare. I started in Support and now oversee the evolution of our software as VP of Child Care Products. Through the years, I’ve actively volunteered, including teaching English in Belize. More recently, I used vacation days to rebuild houses in tornado-damaged areas in the South.

Kathy Piunti

At the heart of my work is employee engagement. I’m inspired by the collaborative efforts of our Employee Engagement Committee, an initiative I lead with members from each department to propel SofterWare’s success for the good of our employees, and our clients. I’m an avid baker and a self-professed chocoholic. One of my favorite gifts from my husband was a 5-pound Hershey’s candy bar.

Jon Biedermann
VP of Fundraising Products

Jon Biedermann

I manage the fundraising business units and products for SofterWare, including DonorPerfect. I have experience in nearly all job roles at SofterWare, and am just as comfortable jumping on a support call or sales call at a moment’s notice. In regard to the community, my healthy obsession with fundraising has helped save a castle, build baseball lights, and run basketball leagues. I’m also involved nationally with the Giving USA Foundation trying to increase giving past 2% of GDP.

Mike Sernoff

It would take a much longer paragraph to describe all aspects of my role at SofterWare in detail, so I’ll simply say that I love my job because many aspects of it are focused on two groups of people whose success I care about a great deal: (1) our clients and (2) my co-workers. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two cats, and traveling, especially spending time at the beach or visiting national parks.

Lynn McLaughlin
EZ Childcare Program Manager

Lynn McLaughlin

My responsibility is the development and delivery of all EZ childcare products building creative systems that assist our clients in the daily management of their centers. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband and three children who are growing up at lightning speed. We spend most of our free time at the ice rink watching my son’s hockey games, at a football field with my daughters marching band or at the soccer field with my youngest! If I’m still MIA – just look for the minivan taxiing those same 3 teenagers around town!

Along with my talented team, I help organizations and their constituents raise money for incredible causes around the world by building and evolving an easy-to-use Online Forms product. I love spending time with my wife Amanda and son Benji, as well as supporting local nonprofits. I’m also a passionate and – depending upon whom you ask – improving tennis player.

I work with product management to ensure SofterWare effectively delivers the features that our current and future clients need. When I’m not helping create the latest and greatest DonorPerfect, I’m watching Manchester United come out on to the pitch, or spending quality time with my wife and two children.

David McLaughlin
Vice President of Payment Solutions

David McLaughlin

Integrating our payment processing into our software has saved our clients thousands of hours of work, improving their bottom line. I make sure we continue to provide them the latest payment processing technology at the most affordable rates. We McLaughlins are active in our community, and have a passion for volunteerism at home and abroad. I’m also a sports fanatic and love coaching.

When not at SofterWare, I enjoy time with my family at local baseball diamonds, batting cages, soccer fields, and fishing.

I get to work with a talented group of artists, and together we create content, designs, and communications that let clients and future clients know they’ve chosen the best people and products to ensure their success. I can’t play sports, build a home, or cook a meal to save my life, but I love watching others do those things on TV! My future will involve lots more travel. (I better get on that!)

Since joining DonorPerfect Canada in 2000 as a Support Representative, I have held multiple positions within the company on my way to my current position as Executive Director. In doing so, I have truly been able to learn something new every day about our team and our clients. Outside of work, I am a competitive Dragon-Boat paddler and bike to work everyday (except during Montreal winter!).

Lindsey Minnich

I work on bringing enhancements and new features to our Online Forms, DonorPages and ReadySetAuction products. I’m also a wife and mother to two little girls who keep the calendar full with dance recitals, gymnastics and playdates at the playground. I also enjoy baking lots of goodies for friends, camping and tending to a growing vegetable garden.

I manage the creation and development of products for mobile devices – phones and tablets. Together with a creative and talented team, we focus on mobile products that help our clients succeed while they’re on the move and away from their desks. You’ll often find me behind a camera lens capturing special moments for nonprofits, families, and couples.

I’ve loved writing code since I first took a computer course to get out of taking more math. At SofterWare, I lead a crew of amazing people doing Agile development every day, and get to help nonprofits, schools and camps make the world a little better. Besides technology, I have a ton of hobbies and enjoy doing anything handy. I’m a huge Flyers fan, play guitar, enjoy running (when I can), my family, good beer and wine, and travel (I’ve been to Octoberfest in Germany 5 times!).

Jeff Pagano

My team and I are the first to interact with our software after new features or updated functionality are implemented. We collaborate with our Development Team and UX to ensure they are ready for release. I’m a father of three boys and enjoy playing and coaching ice hockey. I also run the Play It Forward Foundation with some of my childhood friends. Our nonprofit empowers people to give back to those in need through sports like volleyball, dodgeball, running, and more.
