EZ Sales Account Manager

The success of SofterWare’s products is due, in large part, to the skills and professionalism of our EZ Sales Account Managers. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our award winning software solutions to Child Care Providers and Camps throughout North America. In this position, you will be initially responsible for reactivating old leads from prospects that expressed interest in our solutions and chose not to move forward. After a period of approximately 3-6 months, you will move into a full Sales Account Manager role.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our award winning software solutions to Child Care Providers and Camps throughout North America. You will be responsible for generating and closing new business sales opportunities and growing the existing customer base by offering additional products and services. Our creative Marketing department generates leads enabling our Sales Account Managers to focus on selling. Technology enables our Sales Account Managers to sell and demo our software to prospects remotely, so there is very little travel.

You will be selling cutting edge software backed by 30+ years of experience in the industry. Our new mobile product and our unparalleled web-based software are what the child care industry has been waiting for!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Opportunities in an assigned geographic territory throughout the sales process.
  • Effectively evaluate prospect needs to recommend appropriate software solutions.
  • Demonstrate software solutions and products via telephone, internet, and at trade shows
  • Update, maintain, and manage prospects records in our CRM
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for prospects using Salesforce
  • Provide timely, proactive follow-up on all prospect opportunities
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Maintain strong knowledge of our products as well as the offerings of our competitors.

Requirements:

The skills and experience of our EZ Sales Account Managers typically include:

  • Previous successful consultative sales experience with proven closing abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation, and telephone skills
  • Ability to learn new software products quickly
  • Practical, relevant, experience in computer software and technology including: Microsoft Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, PowerPoint, and web presentation applications (WebEx or GotoMeeting)
  • Knowledge of EZ-CARE2 (or similar) products and services and/or the childcare management space is a plus.
  • A strong work ethic, a high level of confidence, self-driven sense of motivation and excellent follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of the childcare market is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce is helpful, but not required.
