We are currently seeking a WebLink Associate Product Manager who will work directly with our Vice President of Fundraising Products to author, prioritize, maintain, and champion the product roadmap. You’ll have the opportunity to take on thrilling challenges and problem-solve by collaborating with key stakeholders on our Executive, Development, Customer Care, Sales and Marketing teams so that every product release is internally and externally successful. As someone who can work with people at all levels of the organization, you will collaborate with everyone in our company from our CEO to newly hired Client Support Representatives and everyone in between. You will manage execution from strategic planning to tactical activities and ensure the product’s success in the market. You will blend your strong product management skills, proven business acumen, and the vision and drive to contribute to our revenue growth, and you will share in the success of that growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Product Manager and author, prioritize, maintain, and champion the product roadmap.
  • Author product priority reports, status updates, and new product/service templates.
  • Manage the product lifecycle as the scrum Product Owner from daily tactical activities to long-term strategic feature prioritization and planning.
  • Coordinate with the Development staff to support an iterative approach to releases, closely following an agile scrum methodology.
  • Coordinate the goals and efforts for successful feature utilization, regular reporting of key product metrics, and the strategy to improve feature adoption, client retention etc.
  • Communicate results of ongoing debriefing analysis on new products/features that have been previously released on a recurring basis.
  • Propose specific and innovative market requirements for current and future products, features, and related initiatives by conducting market research from customers and prospective customers.
  • Regularly solicit, review, prioritize, and act on employee, customer, prospective customer, and other industry feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other channels.
  • Support the related goals of the Product Manager for the product, partnerships, and clients.
  • Support the related goals of the SofterWare leadership team.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; becoming a thought leader; participating in professional organizations.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of software marketing, product management, or related experience.
  • Previous Payment Processing Experience is highly desirable
  • knowledgeable in technology and development lifecycles.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to coordinate large initiatives across multiple teams with dozens of members each.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analysis and prioritization skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work well in teams and energize others.
  • Prefer subject matter expertise in the areas of fundraising.
  • Previous sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
  • Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or related work experience highly desirable.
